Duncan Motorsports has organized a biker build off for the budget builder:
Here’s how it works: The Biker build off is open to any brand, size, or model of motorcycle; anything from 50 CC to 2000 CC, Dirt, street, scooter we don’t mind.
You can restore it, customize it, and build your own it does not matter to us.
...All that matters is that on July 16th you present your bike for judging.
There will be trophies and Glory on judgement day.
Judging will be by public vote on July 16th 2011.
Some very important rules:
1) The whole project cannot cost you more than $5,000.
If you already have a bike kicking around or you can hunt a bike down for free than you have $5,000 to spend on mods. However if you have to purchase the bike then you have less to spend on mods.The total spent on the build cannot be more than $ 5,000. We do require receipts.
2) You must provide us a before photo at signup.
